Seems like a day doesn't go by when I don't rely on Romex for some mad fix. This time it supported my wish to honor the industrial designer who, back in the day, put great care into ensuring that these beautiful glass parabolic mirrors were shaped and placed so as to make the most of the filament.... only, in the interest of time and money, I'm replacing the original bulbs with LED arrays...so I want them to sit exactly where the incandescent filaments once sat. And each is of a different era.....one vertical, one horizontal.

Easter egg aiming upgrade for Airways

I abandoned the sewer snake drum because it just proved to be too difficult translating a spinning cable to a reliable back-and-forth motion. (tapered worm drive needed). Opted for a spring-loaded pull cable. Choose to keep the drum for its housing so it now serves as a decoy... and hides the pull inside. The pull affects a few degrees of change on the angle of the exit tube... which in turn creates another layer of chaos on the floor. Initial tests garnered praises of "Coooool!"

The first version was good... but the addition of high gloss, faux lead relief (via caulk), and an outer frame (via irrigation hose) really nails it.
